We need your voice!

We need some new voices on our ID's during Newsline, as well as for the repeater.

Here is how you do it:

1. Record your version of one of the scripts below. You can use Sound Recorder on your computer, or any sound editor.

2. Save your file as a WAV or MP3.

3. Email your file(s) to neil@w9earDOTorg. We'll include them on the air ASAP!

Here are some sample IDs. Feel free to ad-lib. Just make sure "W9EAR" is in there somewhere. "Use tone 107.2" is also nice to include.

Hi! This is (your name and callsign). You're listening to Newsline on the EARS Wide Area Net, held Monday evenings at 8:30 pm Central time on the W9EAR repeater network.

Hello, this is (your name, callsign, and hometown). You're on the EARS Wide Area Repeater Network, W9EAR. Please use tone 107.2

Don't miss the EARS Wide Area Net, Mondays at 8:30 pm Central time on the W9EAR Repeater Network.
