Once again, the building was packed all morning long. Many thanks to all those who helped with setup, talk-in, ticket sales, and logistics, especially N9KDB, KA9PCT & family, N9RAH, N9TIQ, KB9KCF & family, KE4OXZ,

N9RTB, KE9ZV, N9TCV, KF9DL, and KA9ZHY. Forgive me if I left anyone out. The dealers all had good reports, and most have agreed to return next year. Plan ahead -- Saturday, November 30, 1996, same time, same place.

AGAIN A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO THE OLD POST ARS OF VINCENNES for providing the concession stand at the hamfest this year. As always, they did a teriffic job!

REPEATER UPDATE: Thanks to Marty KA9PCT, Eric N9KDB, and Walt W8ENM, the 145.15 repeater is back up to full power after the late summer lightning hit. There seems to be an intermittent link problem going from Evansville to Vincennes, I will be checking on it soon. We're still waiting on the 145.11 insurance claim. Barry KE4OXZ is making progress on the new 146.895 site. We are STILL having problems problems with people turning on the link without identifying. If this problem persists, the alternate link codes will go into effect. Control ops should have these alternate codes. If the public link code does not work, please call a control op for link

access.
